A report stated that 1000 are slipping through sensitive security areas in airports, which are served by TSA. People smuggling their handguns through the security area without any problems.

Is the US failing to grasp that 99.9% of the terrorists are Idiots, profiling is the only way to work with masses of people… it’s logic vs overgrown political correctness, I think the government should be more terrified that someone, at a time and location, who is unknown to them, will fly a plane into a skycraper again. They should look better at TSA, that they make a better job on airport security.

When is Delta going to add real one-way awards?

Currently, Delta appears to have no plans to offer one-way awards. Or rather, they do offer the ability to travel one-way, but you’ll be using the same number of Skymiles for one-way as you would for a round-trip award, effectively making a one-way booking pointless. However, there are tricks for getting a lower price ticket when using your Delta Skymiles Awards one-way.

If, for example, you wanted to fly one-way in business to Europe, you could use your miles to fly one-way in business, with a return in economy. Since you’re only going one-way, you could just ditch the economy portion of your trip. You can also use your Skymiles to fly into one city and out of another on different dates.

For example, if you had a business meeting in both Los Angeles and San Francisco, you could book a flight to Los Angeles, with a return flight from San Francisco, but you would have to purchase a separate ticket from Los Angeles to San Francisco. Basically, Delta doesn’t make it easy to use Skymiles to fly one-way, but there are a few tricks you can use to save yourself money, time, and miles.
